Chris’s investment banking career has primarily focused on advising privately-held companies on financing strategies and executing various types of growth and M&A initiatives. He has advised well over 100 business owners and executive management teams on the exploration of strategic and financial alternatives including debt refinancing, restructuring, and recapitalization initiatives, the arrangement of institutional debt and equity capital, and the purchase or sale of a business. Over his 25+ years within financial services, Chris has had exposure to a broad spectrum of industries including companies representing manufacturing, service, distribution, and technology sectors. Throughout his career, Chris has helped clients solve a variety of complex business issues involving matters pertaining to growth, acquisition, business development, financing, ownership transition, business structure, and has also helped companies out of distressed situations.

Prior to co-founding Promontory Point Capital, Chris was a Managing Director with L. William Teweles & Co., a Milwaukee-based investment banking firm. His previous professional experience also includes years with U.S. Bank Capital Markets and J.P. Morgan Chase (f/k/a Banc One Corporation). Throughout his career, Chris has worked with business owners and management teams in arranging capital from institutions such as banks, insurance companies, mezzanine funds, private equity groups, and other types of investment companies.

Chris attended Marquette University where he earned a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance and he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His professional credentials include holding the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation since 1999 and he has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1995. Chris serves as an advisor to several civic and charitable organizations and is a shareholder & advisory board member for several privately-held companies.
